About Us
What Sets Us Apart
Founded in 1998, Alpha Center for Women offers life-affirming alternatives to those facing unplanned pregnancies.
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, supported by the generous time, talents, and gifts of local churches, businesses, and individuals. We do not receive county or federal funding.
We are a contracted provider for the Florida Pregnancy Support Services Program, which promotes pregnancy education and encourages women to carry to term.
Our mission is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through both word and action.

We provide free pregnancy tests and compassionate, confidential counseling.
Our trained volunteer counselors listen without judgment and offer honest, caring support. These trusted relationships often continue over time, offering encouragement and hope during a difficult season.
Counsel
We offer honest, respectful conversations about sexual health and relationships.
Our counselors provide factual information about the physical and emotional risks of sexual activity, including STDs and unplanned pregnancy. We also highlight the emotional and spiritual benefits of saving sex for marriage, always presented with care and sensitivity.
Educate
We offer support and guidance for clients considering adoption.
Our counselors walk alongside birth parents, offering emotional support, encouragement, and friendship throughout the process. When adoption is chosen, we connect clients with trusted legal and adoption professionals to ensure their needs are met every step of the way.
Advocate
Healing after abortion is possible.
We offer a 10-week Bible study designed to help women find hope, healing, and forgiveness through God’s grace. It's a safe and supportive environment where women can process their experiences and begin to heal emotionally and spiritually.
Heal
Through partnerships with Care Net and Heartbeat International, women in crisis can quickly reach someone who cares.

Care
Through our Bridges program, clients receive support and earn points for essential baby items like diapers, clothing, and furniture. Our Maternity Loan Closet offers free maternity clothes during pregnancy. Clients can give back by donating or returning items, earning more points while helping others.
